Appearing again this year. Katie and Lexi work hard to help us keep the fields mowed, provide us with photographic oppurtunities, and make traffic slow down every day!.
Just a few flowers from our place. we lost our roses this winter and will be replacing them in the 2010 season. Stay tuned next year for new Rose photos!.
Just wanted to post a few pics from a job i did over the summer. A new process that sifts through the old slag and waste from the old mines and reclaims iron ore that was left over from the old process, this ore is then converted into usuable pellets to be shipped to steel mills. This was about a 20 million dollar project that i worked on as Piping Manager.
We feed a few hungry friends when ole man winter is at his worst. We have seen as many as 11 in our backyard at once. With spring though our friends return to their regular diets and we await their return next winter.
Appearing for the first time Mini features the website this year along with Durn who returns for another appearance. Check out the antics and moments these kids have and enjoy.
Ok so we are farm geeks and just have to take photos of the new chickens to share with you all. We ordered these from Cackle Hatchery in Missouri and they arrived safe and sound via the US Postal Service. We will be updating their first few months so keep checking here for new photos.
Stacey and I enjoy frequent sight seeing trips. Since Lake Superior is such a huge part of this area, not to mention the world, we thought it deserves it's own album where we can show you all a few of the pictures we will be taking this year as we make our rounds to beautiful and interesting locations. This will be updated often so keep checking in on us!.
As we make our way throughout the year we come across some locations that deserve their own special place and special mention on our website. Gooseberry Falls is without a doubt a very special place that we visited recently and will definitely be going back to see again. Check this folder out for some very beautiful photos of some of natures finest work!.
Everyone loves a lighthouse. Actually getting to visit a very historic and beautiful one was a chance of a lifetime. Check out these photos and make sure to visit this site if your ever up on the North Shoreline past Two Harbors.

Ok so this is a special section dedicated to an American cutural icon which without, no farm would be complete. Stac and I enjoy our little John Deere Tractor and use it to mow the yard, keep brush cut back and even snow plow in the winter. Want to see what all goes on with our green and yellow toy? then look inside!
Just one of the holidays. We attended a parade in nearby Brookston which was a very nice event. That evening we made sure to return for the firework display. Which i have to admit was probably the best show i have seen in my life. Great Show! and a highly reccomended must see next year.
Need I say more? ok i will! This airshow suprised me. I suspected it would be good, but never expected it to be so great!!. The weather deteriorated throughout the day. but not before we seen excellent displays of airmanship and some really awesome aircraft. BLUE ANGLES!! A10-WARTHOGS, P-38 LIGHTENING!! See the pics inside!.
EAA pulled off another super Airshow this year. Anyone know what the F-22 Raptor is? Take a look inside and see our newest STEALTH FIGHTER as it gave a demonstration of just a few of its features at this years airshow. Many other exciting shows and sights were all around. My 5th EAA to attend and hopefully not the last. Enjoy!
The new John Deere Stacey and I bought this year. Model 3120 with a 300CX loader. a 5 ft. brush cutter a 5 Foot grooming mower for our yard. and probably the best piece of equipment, a 5 foot snow blower very much in use this winter(see the winter pics section)
Shortly after moving in Stacey and I were welcomed by a local native 3 days in a row. Marty as i began to call him played and hunted through our pastures for field mice coming within 5 ft of me while i photographed him. He never seemed afraid nor made any aggressives moves toward me. After those 3 days we never seen again!. Cya Marty and good luck!
Open to view our girls Katie and Lexie this year. At home on the farm and happy!. Check out the sillouhette photos that Stacey took one morning when the fog rolled in.

What started out as a Trip to the National Aquarium turned into a tour of the Inner Harbor when we we discovered the Aquarium was overcrowded and no more visitors would be allowed until late that evening. We still had a blast and will post the Aquarium next time we go.
This is the Second trip to the Smithsonian and the National Mall. Les and I had alot of fun. I have uploaded all pictures taken for content so some may be out of focus. I downsized the images for size reasons. I have the original 4MP files should anyone want to use any of the photos.
This Album contains pics from Our Trip to Medieval Times, I highly reccomend this place. I took over 450 photos while there some were to blurry because of low lighting I only posted the better ones here and made them smaller for file size reasons, I have 4meg pics if anyone wants a copy with high resolution.
We visited this prestigious Horse Racing event and had alot of fun. despite it being overcast the photos turned out well with few exceptions. I reduced all the photos to a smaller size here for space issues if anyone would like a full size 4 meg pixel photo please let me know.

Baltimore National Aquarium - This was a fun trip. We our friends in the morning. Spent a long time looking at all the animals. Very cool place to visit. If you like frogs this was my favorite part- all the bright poisonous ones =) They have a HUGE ray tank!!!! A nice Sunday drive 30 minutes away delivered us to the famous and very old Belair Mansion and Stables famous for its Thoroughbred horses as far back as mid 1700's. Owned more recently (early 1900's) by the Woodward's this place is now owned and kept up by the city of Bowie, MD. nice afternoon and nice folks taking care of these very nice places. Gallant Fox, Omaha and Nashua all came from this farm. The stable and the mansion is a must see for any horse, art or history fan. The artist would definatly enjoy the four seasons by Mercier, they are incredible. Enjoy!
Dan and I took a in a game in Baltimore. Orioles did not win but it was fun. Nice stadium and the walk to and from our car was an adventure itself lol.
